X-Series Microphone Connectors
  NEUTRIK's smallest available XLR cable connector consist of only 4 parts and eliminates the use of a set screw or crimping during assembly. One piece unbreakable die-cast housing, bellows-style polyurethane flex relief, and chuck-type snap-on cable clamp provides a secure strain relief with maximal cable protection for cables 1/8" to 5/16" in diameter.

NEUTRIK© has released its XY series after intensive studies and experiments on how to best apply non-soldering "Insulation Displacement" technology to the termination of standard two-pole shielded audio cables with XLR-connectors.
